shot this last year after a chalet, but i never did get around to processing it, since i'd used my friend's camera and had only recently gotten the photos from her.
i do know that the tone of blue looks way overly done, but that's not my fault. haha. the sun was really really hot that day, too. i recall sitting under that palm tree, just enjoying the sea breeze whilst chilling with friends...

I think photography is about your own interpretation of all the image elements, whether it is to acheive 'realism', or a 'fantasy', so your choice of colours is how you want the shot to appear, which I think in this case, and judging by others comments, a sense of paradise.
For me, the shot looks very inviting, I want to be there, the colours are stunning and beautiful, the scene coveys an image of contemplation, peace and relaxation, good work
