Silver Bells; open wide, darling

constructive criticism and suggestions are warmly welcomed :) thank you so much for your support so far! it's truly been amazing and i don't deserve it <3

anyways, you'll notice that i filed this photo under "Lifestyle and Culture" instead of "People and Portraits". (this falls more under 'Culture' than Lifestyle btw, haha). this is because this is what is traditionally done at Chinese tea ceremonies (held before the wedding) - the couple has to eat something called a "tang yuan". it's a round thing that's made of glutinous rice flour and is usually filled with a flavoured paste (either peanut or sesame). i personally love eating the sesame one :D it's really really yummy.

i can't remember the significance of eating the 'tang yuan', and couldn't seem to find it online either. perhaps i'll ask my parents and give you the answer in my next update! or maybe someone here knows...? lol.
