yes indeed i am still alive! (: haha. i haven't been updating because my life's been in an utter mess - i had to settle some last minute university admission stuff, pack my entire 18plus years proof of existence into boxes as we're moving into our new house this saturday, separate some stuff for me to move into the university's hostel.... yup. basically, life happened.
so from now on, my updates will probably be rather irregular as i settle down into my new house and hostel. or rather, they'll be irregular until i get my own personal laptop ;p haha.
anyways, photo-wise, i've found out what's the significance of eating the tang yuan! (please refer to previous entry if you have no idea what i'm talking about). as the title says, it's for "prosperity". the yuan2 means man3 (a chinese word), which stands for prosperity.
p.s. these are 2 different couples (:

Excellent shots -- as usual. They look very good side by side like this, and I do like the non symmetrical style you've chosen here. Good luck with your new life! (Only "18plus years"?. I see a bright future for you in photography!)

you've got quite a knack for capturing unflattering moments

haha these shots remind me of those times i covered weddings and these were so called the "mandatory" keepsake shots! :)
lovely indeed but as I look at the white of the bride's gown I'm reminded of the black radioactive raindrops and the barren bleak land of Hiroshima when after the A-bomb was dropped on her today (6 Aug 1945) 62 years ago...
watched a sad documentary yesterday about it... may it never happen again so that we can have more of such wonderful moments of joy as wonderfully captured by you!

Nice framing and good idea to put 2 couples side by side and even more interesting to put one that is groom feeding bride and the other one opp. One thing i notice is the in colored foto, the groom seems a bit OOF (not sure if it is on purpose?)...maybe u can open use a smaller aperture next round? U getting into local uni? NUS/NTU?

@Anthony: okiedokie noted, thanks! oh, i'm in ntu. :)
Good luck on settling into your new location, these couples have a lot to look forward to in coming years. I hope you gave them copies of these images.
